or am i?! that is the big question on everybody's lips - well probably only one person's and that isn't me (dad!). well, all that's left to do now is make sure i have something to wear to travel in tomorrow and to pack my hand luggage (not forgetting passport, obv).
the flight leaves tomorrow at 13.10 from liverpool airport and i should arrive at the hotel at about 17.30 (all being well).
because the course doesn't start officially til sunday, saturday night will be in a hotel and then sunday morning i will head up (i think it's on a mountain, or at least a very big hill!) to the school aka malory towers! or lady school as it is more commonly known amongst others. haha.
from what i gather i will be sharing a room with 3-4 others of roughly the same age (am hoping not to have to share a room with bratty 18 year olds - this has been todays recurring daymare - like me when i was about 13, and louise about 3 years ago, except older (and probably brattier)) and i hope to get internet access to keep you lovely people up to date on the situation! weekends i think are free, although there are excursions in switzerland which i will probably be going on, to give me something to do - although i hope i wont be bored!!
to give you a rough idea of the curriculum: european etiquette, hosting and protocol; table service & hostessing practice (this involves serving the other students!); business etiquette and savoir-vivre; floral art and table decoration; cooking; public relations; home management; personal presentation. it all looks very interesting and useful (barring the preparation for a state visit...)
that's all i can think of for the moment...apart from the fact that i got a haircut ready for the off (never realised i had a phobia of hairdressing salons until it came to booking the appointment, having cut my own hair for the past 4-5 years!!!) and i hope to stop biting my nails!
